225 bottles bottled at cask strength is the outturn of the Refill bourbon barrel #1933. Clean and crisp, it opens up with a bright sense of yellow fruit, mainly golden apples and grapefruit. The cereal note, along with a fierce Highlander character, shines through the nose, with some chalky and buttery nuances. On the palate, the bold DNA of the spirit is more noticeable: the high ABV amplifies the citrusy and sweet notes but it doesn’t affect its easydrinking attitude. Grapefruit again, but now with a gorgeous sensation of almond pastries, lemon essential oil and a thickle of spiciness and salt. Even some chocolate and caffelatte appear in a sharp and ultra-clean finish which makes you ask for one more. A hidden lively gem.
